Tour Details

Day 01: Drive from Bagdogra / NJP to Chitrey (61km/1 Hour)
Chitrey Excursion, Sarigua National Park, Herrera Museum
Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, you will be driven to Chitrey. Arriving in the hamlet, check-in into a hotel/resort and spend the full day at leisure. You can also recline for a while and take up a sightseeing tour of Chitrey which include attractions like Sarigua National Park and Herrera Museum followed by an overnight stay.
*Note Park and Museum Timings 0900AM – 0500PM
Day 02:Drive from Chitrey to Mankhim (74km/2 Hours)
Teesta River Rafting (optional), Sunset Views
After a tempting breakfast at Chitrey, you can dive into icy-clear blue water of Teesta River for white river rafting. If you are not in the mood of getting drenched, you can drive up till Mankhim, which is a hilltop destination. Come evening, enjoy the magical sunset views before you retire for the day in Mankhim.

Day 03:Drive from Mankhim – Rongli – Dzuluk (40km/1 Hour)
Rongli, Kuekhola Falls, Evening Walk, Helipad
On the third day, following an early morning breakfast at Mankhim, proceed to discover a one more splendour/transit point of silk route “Dzuluk”. On the way, you will cross Rongli for inner-line permits; visit scenic orchards and the Kuekhola Falls. Upon reaching DDzuluk, retire for the day followed by an evening walk to the helipad.
Day 04: Drive from Dzuluk to Gnathang (27km/1 Hour)
Sunrise View at Thambi View Point (optional), Lunthung, Monastery Visit
Begin your early morning with an optional sunrise trip from Thambi View Point which is 11,200ft. From the point, enjoy the panoramic views of the Mt Kanchenjunga and the entire Eastern Himalayas. Later, return to the hotel, and after having breakfast, move towards the much sought-after valley of Gnathang.
The zigzag terrains and the extreme bends (30 Hairpin Bends) will keep you enthralled all throughout the journey. On the way, visit Lunthung View Point before you finally make it to the destination for the day. Arriving in Gnathang, visit one of the ancient monasteries before you call it a day.
Day 05:Gnathang
Gnathang Sightseeing, Changu Lake, Rhododendrons
Post today’s breakfast, embark on an excursion to the Nathang Valley; visit some of the attractions like Changu Lake and ancient Hindu temples. In evening you can take a stroll around the rhododendron thickets and conclude the day with pleasant note.
Day 06:Drive from Gnathang to Reshi Khola (68Km/2 Hours)
Local Life, Riverside Fun
Begin the day with an energising breakfast followed by having a glimpse of the local life in Gnathang; interact with the locals and know more about their lives and cultures! Spend the first half of the day with them and after having lunch, drive to Reshi Khola. Come evening, spend pleasant times beside a stunning river followed by the overnight stay in Reshi Khola.
Day 07:Drive from Reshi Khola to Icchey Gaon (41km/1 Hour)
Orchard and Forest Walks
Waking up in the morning, stuff yourself with a delicious breakfast, and take a drive from Reshi Khola to Icchey Gaon. Spent the day exploring and discovering the local attractions like the verdant orchards, lush forests and others; overnight stay will be in Icchey Gaon.
Day 08:Drive from Icchey Gaon to Makaibari (120km/3 Hours)
Tea Estate Visit, Tea Culture and History
Set out for another journey, as you are transferred from Icchey Gaon to Makaibari. Spend the day walking and exploring the scenic beauty of the Makaibari Tea Estate and know more about the tea culture of the region.
Day 09:Drive from Makaibari to Bagdogra / NJP (30km/1 Hour)
Tour Ends Here
Wrap up your journey with delicious breakfast at Makaibari, after which, you will be transferred to the Bagdogra Airport. Arriving at the airport, mark the end of this delightful tour package and continue towards you final destination.
